Product details & FAQ
The Alef angled abutment corrects the axis of an implant that was placed with an angulation relative to the planned crown. It is a titanium abutment for cement-retained restorations on the Alef internal-hex implant and is offered in two angulations, 15° and 25°, and two heights, 9 mm and 11 mm. Correcting the axis at the abutment level lets the clinician build a restoration that sits correctly in the arch even when anatomy or surgical constraints limited the implant position.
Each abutment is delivered with its corresponding abutment screw, ALAS.
Choosing the angulation
Use the 15° abutment for modest corrections and the 25° abutment where the implant axis differs more from the intended crown axis. Evaluate the angulation on the radiograph or CBCT and on the working model before deciding. If you need a defined shoulder and a choice of collar height, see the Alef angled abutment with shoulder.
Choosing the height
The 9 mm version suits cases with limited interocclusal space; the 11 mm version (codes ending in L) provides additional height when more space is available. Check the available space before ordering.
