Product details & FAQ
The Alef angled abutment with shoulder combines axis correction with a defined shoulder and a choice of collar height. It is a titanium abutment for cement-retained restorations on the Alef internal-hex implant, available in 15° and 25° angulations, in regular and anatomic profiles. This page brings both profiles together so you can choose and order from a single place.
Each abutment is delivered with its corresponding abutment screw, ALAS.
Regular or anatomic?
The regular angled abutments with shoulder are offered with collar heights of 1, 2, 3 and 4 mm. The anatomic angled abutments follow the scalloped contour of the gingival margin and are offered with collar heights of 1, 2 and 3 mm. The anatomic profile can help match the soft-tissue architecture, especially in the aesthetic zone.
Choosing angle and collar height
Evaluate the implant axis against the planned crown axis and choose 15° for smaller corrections or 25° for larger ones. Then measure the soft-tissue depth at the site and select the collar height that places the shoulder at or near the gingival margin. The abutment height above the collar is 9 mm.

Ordering notes
Select profile, angle and collar height above; the reference code is shown for each combination. For example, AA252 is the regular 25° abutment with a 2 mm collar, and AAA151 is the anatomic 15° abutment with a 1 mm collar. Torque values are maximum recommendations and should not replace the clinician’s judgment; adapt them to clinical conditions, bone quality and the patient’s specific situation.
These abutments are designed for the Alef system. For an angled abutment without a shoulder, see the Alef angled abutment.
