Product details & FAQ
The Alef ball attachment system retains an implant-supported overdenture with a simple, proven mechanism. A ball abutment (Ø4.0 mm) is screwed onto the Alef implant; a metal housing placed in the denture snaps over the ball, and a silicone cap sets the retention level. This page keeps every part of the system together: ball abutments in all seven heights, the metal housing and the silicone caps, each ordered individually.
Ball abutments
Ball abutments are offered in heights from 1 mm to 7 mm (BA1–BA7). Choose the height according to the soft-tissue thickness so the ball sits just above the gingiva.
Silicone caps and retention
The silicone cap determines how firmly the denture is held. Three retention levels are available: clear for standard retention (BACAP), pink for soft retention (BACAPP) and yellow for strong retention (BACAPY). Caps wear with use and can be replaced at chairside.
Metal housing
The metal housing (BAMH) is processed into the denture base and holds the silicone cap.

How to choose
Select the part you need above: a ball abutment at the required height, a metal housing, or a silicone cap in the retention you need. The reference code for each choice is shown on the variant. The torque is a maximum recommendation and should not replace the clinician’s judgment; adapt it to clinical conditions, bone quality and the patient’s specific situation.
