Product details & FAQ
The Alef lock attachment system is a low-profile overdenture retention system. A lock abutment (Ø3.85 mm) is screwed onto the Alef implant, a metal housing is processed into the denture, and a silicone cap provides retention. Because the profile is low, the system works well where vertical space is limited. This page keeps the whole system together: straight lock abutments, angled lock abutments for non-parallel implants, and all the housings, rings and caps, each ordered individually.
Straight lock abutments
Straight lock abutments (LOCK05, LOCK1–LOCK6) are offered in heights of 0.5 to 6 mm to match the soft-tissue thickness. Select the height that places the top of the abutment just above the gingiva.
Angled lock abutments
Where implants are not parallel, angled lock abutments restore a common path of insertion. The 18° version (ALOCK181–ALOCK184) is offered in collar heights of 1 to 4 mm, and the 30° version (ALOCK301–ALOCK303) in collar heights of 1 to 3 mm.
Caps, ring and housing
Silicone caps come in four retention levels: extra soft (yellow, LOCKES), soft (pink, LOCKSO), standard (clear, LOCKST) and strong (purple, LOCKSG). Caps are consumables and can be replaced at chairside as retention decreases. The metal housing (LOCKMH) and the silicone ring (LOCKRI) are available as separate parts.
